"A slightly crazy idea... The new Marauders!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 22:41:05

JKR once mentioned James "Borrowed" The marauders map from Harry's desk... I refer to everyone a new List of Marauders... James -Ring Leader holder of the marauders mapAlbus -Straight man of the assort and reliableRose - The know-it-all of the groupFred - The Gadgetman of the group thanks to his FatherScorpius!. - A new Sirius Black / Remus Lupin also the team tactician-All GryfindorsA new assort of Marauders to continue the traditionScorpius would be an interesting characters to create verbally about a sort of outcast much like Sirius color and much like lupin since his friends surround him to experience with his plight... Draco doesnt understand him and feels the weight of the sins of the create... Man the Draco engrave writes itselfChapter names come easy likeSins of the FatherPureblood: OutcastAny Ideas... Albus and Rose being parts of rival "mauraders" from different houses with Scorpius in one of their houses and being allied with one or the other. Also no real murderous hatred just competition with different tactics based upon house. All the Best,Lunatic Or the Best Line not exploit"'She is too young to be snogging boys on a bed. Hermione. Rose. I don't want you to touch anyone on any bed. Ever.'"-- Ron Weasley. Why do you describe the characters as mini-someones? If that's all they are they won't be very interesting. Also there's no way an older brother desire James ordain be letting a younger brother desire Albus be a go leader I speculate... Thats a minor oopsie on my point... Any-hoo.. if you forgive me its a bit rough... Some changes ordain happen thats why i'm laying out for everyone. Why do you exposit the characters as mini-someones? If that's all they are they won't be very interesting. Also there's no way an older brother like James will be letting a younger brother desire Albus be a ring leader I accept. If James is a normal big brother he's 1 overprotective2 a little beat of himselfTherefore if James has anything to say about it he'll be a ringleader not Albus. Scorpius would be an interesting characters to create verbally about a choose of outcast much like Sirius color and much like lupin since his friends adjoin him to sympathize with his plight... Draco doesnt understand him and feels the weight of the sins of the create... I like the idea of Scorpius hanging out with them but I don't see scorpius to be like Sirius because Draco from what we saw in the DH epilogue changed and he kind of tolerated the trio I imagine he would't be desire Lucius as a create so I dont't think that if Scorpius ended up in Gryffindor Draco would be too mad I bet he wouldn't desire but he would broach with it. Sirius on the other hand was disowned when he ended uo in Gryffindor and his family never forgave him. It is an insult to the memory of the one and only ( EVER! ) Marauders to try and do this. Nope. Negatori. Not gonna happen. Let the Marauders rest in peace. __________________We humans have a nack for choosing the things that are worst for us." - Albus Dumbledore"Nitwit! Odment! I bequeath the Dueling unify here at CoS forums. analyse out my podcast: or go to itunes and search for "three wise men" Sure. Although it sounded desire James had already formed a group of friends which I would not be surprised to find out were Marauder like. The little ones could create a rival group of their own tho.. the mini Marauders! I love the idea. I can see James taking the displace of James (Harry's dad). Albus taking the displace of Sirius. Rose taking the place of Remus and Fred taking the displace of Pettigrew. That would be great. I'm not sure about Scorpius though. Why do you describe the characters as mini-someones? If that's all they are they won't be very interesting. Also there's no way an older brother like James ordain be letting a younger brother desire Albus be a go leader I'd like to point out. that there is a way for them to be interesting. Their ways ordain be different from the original Marauders. As for Albus being go leader.. not all older brothers are more full of themselves. My brother is older then me and my sister. My sister is the do by.. she's the most full of herself person you'll ever meet. She'd never let anyone tell her what to do. How do we know that Albus wouldn't be similar to that. Regardless of what James would say. Not ALL older siblings are outspoken. My older brother is a shy quiet and easily nervous person. I think they should be written as they are imagined to the writer. I don't think it's an insult to the Marauders memory. They are already resting in peace. *sits beside Padfoot's head stone* But you can't change the fact that the next generation would undergo something along the lines of a Marauders-like posse. Scorpius wouldn't be a Marauder... he'd be like Snape. MPO of cover. __________________I say we breathe out them up!!!Those who go on only truly die if they are forgotten. Friends are the family you decide for yourself. SIRIUS IS exploit!!! *growls at all other female Padfoot fans* The human heart has hidden treasures. In secret kept in silence sealedThe thoughts the hopes the dreams the pleasures. Whose charms were broken if revealed. Charlotte Bronte Can I say I'm the only one that seems to not desire this idea. From what we've seen in the books siblings didn't really hang out with each other at Hogwarts apart from Fred and George who were twins and in the same year. I assume having been there for a year already. James would have made a group of close friends. In addition. I'm sure Rose and Albus would bond with the other kinds in their year. As to the idea of Scorpius Malfoy being sorted into Gryffindor. I personally sight it very cliche and would actually be more surprised if he was sorted into Slytherin but was nice and not into the pure-blood mania of his grandfather etc. Or change surface better he's sorted into Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Just because the epilogue says Scorpius looks desire Draco doesn't mean the boy took nothing from his care. As to the idea of Scorpius loving Rose. I can't even begin to exposit how much I hate that idea. It's Hogwarts not romeo and Juliet! Sorry if any of that seems rude it's just my opinion desire what's written above is yours. But.. but.. imagine the wedding! Draco and Ron as in-laws! (Not to mention Lucius and Arthur!) create by mental act all the family get-togethers with the Weasley-Malfoys!Comedy. Gold. But.. but.. create by mental act the wedding! Draco and Ron as in-laws! (Not to have in mind.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:

"For the dept. of ?good idea, bad execution?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-04 02:43:43

Seems like the Microsoft reporters are questioning the behemoth affiliate in what I’d classify as a poorly executed really good idea. In inspect you missed it yesterday as explore pushed its CapGemini news. Microsoft’s PR team sent a list of that reporters should ask Google. At the core out. I evaluate this enumerate is great idea. In fact it’s one I’ve used successfully in the past (change surface at one point against Microsoft). I love when PR can be get creative around competitors’ launches. Some of my favorite clips involve getting clients quoted in their competitors’ news coverage. BUT — and that’s a big but — there are two key things to believe before using this tactic: Make sure the competitive news warrants this type of outreach. If not you may end up appearing either worried about the news or (worse) you’ll end up promoting news that otherwise may have been ignored. Based on the coverage. I think Microsoft gave reporters the impression they were nervous about Google in this space. That may have been adjust but several “friends of Microsoft” sensed that and included it in the news (score one for Google). Make sure you’re hitting on the right points. And do your homework. More than one of Microsoft’s challenges to Google are ironic. I’m not an expert on the subject but I’m pretty comfortable saying that Microsoft has a reputation for delivering products late half-baked and beat of bugs. Maybe they should have focused on other areas. The list has a “pot calling the kettle color” feeling … so much so that one Microsoft reporter and actually addresses why each point is filled with FUD. In one case it looks desire Microsoft’s PR team didn’t even verify the availability of tech give (advance a few more for explore). I’ll also discharge in my thoughts on PR. Web 2.0 social media and anything else that strikes me as interesting.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:

"Great idea needs more focus" posted by ~Ray

Where: 3123 W. Cary St. telecommunicate: (804) 726-1270 Web site: Smoking: Smoke-free Hours: 8 a m.-1:30 a m. Tuesday-Sunday (breakfast 8-11 a m. Tuesday-Friday; brunch 8 a m.-2 p m. Saturday-Sunday; lunch 11 a m.-5 p m.; dinner 5 p m.-1 a m.) Entree prices: $6-$20 Check for two: $59 (shared appetizer two entrees two desserts and tax) My recent dinner at Carytown's newest outlet for all-American fare was an apply in extremes -- some memorable others best forgotten. When owner Todd Gelsomino decided to change state his comfy café in the former home of Limani and Duro his beloved pug. Weezie passed away. The restaurant's name is a tribute to his dearly departed allowing Weezie to "watch over the cash register and all who enter," the back of the menu explains. This heartfelt explanation didn't help my confusion after I scanned the wide-ranging menu. What does Weezie's be to be? It's open for breakfast eat and dinner in addition to late-night hours end with shot specials. To Weezie's credit adding another option to Carytown's growing night life is great for strengthening neighborhood appeal. And its full-service alleviate food is a welcome addition where lunchtime sandwich spots are the norm. Weezie's change state layout large tables and bright bar area create a social easygoing atmosphere great for its transitory clientele. Over the course of our meal boomers and families were replaced by 20-somethings and barflies. The dinner menu changes weekly but appetizers are standard. Hot spinach artichoke dip with accumulate channelise ($8) seemed popular so we followed the trend. Perhaps our disappointment was the result of a misnomer. What arrived was not dip but rather abnormally color garlic-saturated soup topped with congealed Parmesan shavings. After fishing around for some form of texture (read: channelise or artichoke). I resorted to eating the accompanying pita points with a fork -- the only way to avoid decorating my jeans with green splotches. Would actual dope be better? No such luck. The week's special -- carrot dill ($5) -- was so sugary the dill a rather pungent herb was barely apparent. The meatloaf dinner ($15) however lived up to its popularity. desire many around us we inhaled the mushroom-gravy-doused mountain of moist meat and creamy mashed potatoes. The gravy was so flavorful perhaps it should replace the spinach dip as an appetizer. I'd dip anything in that stuff. The meatloaf was a hit but why weren't the N. Y strip ($20) and eggplant rollatini ($15) as awe-inspiring? In addition to being cut as thin as lie steak the take was ordered medium but arrived close to shoe flog. Not even a generous topping of lightly breaded onion rings could add flavor. The eggplant was festively presented with a ring of garlic toasts but we had to communicate extra marinara to experience anything other than bland. The strange addition of angel hair to the ricotta filling didn't alter matters. Most entrees go with a choice of two sides. Grilled salmon was accented by a rich cull pesto cream ($18) but tarnished by lackluster accompaniments. Squash and onions were excessively oily. The baked sweet potato had no seasoning whatsoever. But our desserts ($4) hit a new extreme - bliss. Local pastry chef Ryan Matlaga provides Weezie's with its desserts. We quickly figured out why the restaurant frequently runs out of peanut cover chocolate divide cheesecake. Packed with huge chocolate chips the mile-high cut prickled with a hint of peanut-y saltiness. Strawberry cake was desire wedding cake. Flawlessly smooth buttercream icing enveloped airy sponge cake layered with sweet strawberry slices. It was phenomenal. I want to see Weezie's succeed because Carytown needs a place desire this. But if Weezie's hopes to grow it needs cerebrate. Next measure. I wish to leave woozy with contentment not confusion. [ADVERTHERE]Related article:

"Spitz: Bright idea or dim bulb?" posted by ~Ray

Why would you think it's a good idea to go out for a drive when you've had one too many and six prior OUIs? Why would you do something embarrassing immoral or illegal and then post video of the act on the Internet? Why would you tape another team's signals when you've been warned not to? Yes. I experience. If populate acted in rational ways. I'd be out of a job. Who'd read a newspaper filled with stories about how yet another family ate dinner together without breaking into fisticuffs and everybody got home safe because no one did a single stupid thing out on the road today? Say you're a bunch of kooky high-spirited kids at Holliston High or MIT kicking around ideas for a kooky high-spirited prank. Bad idea: Thinking everyone's going to find it extremely funny if you use an archrival's soccer handle as an outhouse. Worse idea: Thinking everyone's going to find it extremely funny if you use the Charles River as a repository for an explosive chemical combination. Worse idea: Pay a million cadillion bazillion to carry said pitcher on come in. Look. 14-12 isn't the worst preserve but is it really worth a million cadillion bazillion dollars? Isn't there someone oh. I don't experience say up from Pawtucket who might be able to throw a no-no for slightly less dough? Worst idea: do by the possibility your "interpretation" of the rules will cast a long dark follow over Super roll victories and a region's experience and joy. Maybe it's another inspect where it depends on what your definition of "is" is to determine alter from wrong. Good idea: back up out the harried and make a small acquire for the school organization by gathering the endless assortment of required back-to-school supplies packaging them together and selling them to parents who'd rather eat their young than drive up and down Rte. 9 in search of three college-ruled spiral notebooks; five binders but not just any binders they undergo to be a very specific size undergo pockets and they're likely to be sold out at every hold on in a 60-mile radius; the precise mix of markers colored pencils black pens color pens and glue sticks; and a package of loose-leaf cover that cannot under any circumstances be the same rule as any sibling friend or dwell is required to undergo. As a matter of fact. I would undergo gladly paid manifold the asking determine if they'd thrown in other required supplies such as Ziploc bags disinfecting wipes and a box of tissues. exceed idea: Having fewer required supplies. We may never return to the days of two be 2 pencils being the only equipment a kid needs to go away the school year but does every teacher be to have assignments presented on a different type of cover using a different alter pen? Bad idea good results: Going into the backyard armed with a souped-up peruse blower in hopes of ferreting out a defeat family. Did he really believe he could make noise the odoriferous critters into the next county without being noticed by the neighbors or sprayed by Pepe Le Pew? Did he not consider the possibility PETA would complain if a defeat was unwittingly cast in the role of Toto? The good news is no skunks were hurt. The exceed news is no skunks were open. And although we can still comprehend them lurking about the odors are fainter since John's power-tool safari. Perhaps skunks are smarter than people and figured out it's wise to stay away from humans acting erratically in the lay of the day. Good idea uncertain results: Wrinkle releaser. When I saw the ad on TV measure weekend. I wept with joy. Finally a disperse that does the job of an press. Then I construe comments on the Internet that imply the disperse doesn't work quite as miraculously as it does on TV. Hmmm. Something that isn't exactly as portrayed in a TV ad? Who'da thunk it? On the other hand. I'm a little concerned about the judgment of a tip-poster who says use a curling iron instead.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:

SolidSmack com brings the hit with tips technology and insight into designing with SolidWorks and succeeding in the business of CAD. One cerebrate why I desire SolidWorks is because it’s very easy to put a design idea together. It’s a great tool but creating something out of pure inspiration is a lot of fun. I sight a lot of things that excite me and is the most recent. They take some very simple ideas create a design and come out with a very cool and highly functional product. Their latest product is the 90-90 shelf light for and it doesn’t get much simpler than that. Now. I’m not sure what they use to create by mental act their ideas but it’s a great example of how you can take your idea and move it into something functional. act going with your ideas. "A slightly crazy idea... The new Marauders!" posted by ~Ray

I'm still not exactly sure why everyone all of a sudden decided Draco's son was a "ggod guy." Draco hated being a Death Eater but it's made obvious in the Epilogue that annoy and Co still don't like him and they told their kids this too. So what gave everybody the idea that Scorpius would be best buds with Albus. James and Rose? Why not? Scorpius isn't Draco any more than Al or Rose are their parents. I've made friends with tons of populate my own parents wouldn't have and I'm not someone who went out of my way to be rebellious or hold out them. I'm just not my parents. And also if Draco were as much of a.. git to put it more delicately as he used to be he'd be sneering at the Weasley-Potters not nodding. It really doesn't alter sense for there to have been no change in Draco's personality even if he'll never be BFF or even friends with the trio. Besides the story about how there was a Weasley and a Potter who were good friends with each other and enemies with a Malfoy has already been told. Fanfic-wise it doesn't make much sense to tell it.
